Bangalore | One Bridge | Head Held High

“Hope is a delicate flower that refuses to be crushed under life’s brutal heel.”

I just moved to Bangalore this week to join Head Held High Foundation and RubanBridge Pvt Ltd which are close to becoming the Amazon and Tesla of the Social innovation sector.

This week has been very happening when it comes to absorbing all the paraphernalia that comes with being a Research Intern/ Project Explorer at an organisation such as One Bridge and HHH under the mentorship, guidance and supervision of Mr Padaki Sir, Mr Pankaj Sir and Mr Chakravarthy Sir who are institutions in themselves in a place as magical as Bangalore.

So this week has been largely an orientation for us to in more ways than one, to prove that we are worthy of their mentorship and time for which we need to be extra proactive and take charge. We haven’t got much opportunity for the same but I have tried to surrender with all my mind, heart and soul to our Leaders and connect with them beyond possible humane levels which I now have realized at the end of the week that it requires more committment than I would have fathomed.

With so many overwhelming activities going on around me by being in the Start-up Capital itself — I definitely take this weekend as a blessing and as a stepping stone to center myself and absorb all the paraphernalia and emerge with a clearer, more focused, less confused, more proactive, more driven and more connected to the people, organisations and systems I am expected to contribute to.

So largely, this week we spent approximately 3 days engaging wholesomely with the Leaders (Madan sir even made a whatsapp group with the CEOs, the COO and the 3 of us which is so overwhelming I can’t even..) The rest 3 days we spent attending and making reports of a large event that shall go on till 7th Dec and is facilitated by HHH , organized by AIM, UNDP , Ashoka University and is for Young Innovators (70/3000) of ages 15 to 24 out of which top 30 shall be selected at the end of the bootcamp and the Top 3 winners shall be incubated for their startup ideas.

Besides this we also got the opportunity to attend a very prestigious event called the Rural Market summit of which Padaki sir himself was a panelist.

This weekend is largely for completing our individual research work that has been allotted to us by Padaki sir. Based on the same, I have tried to sketch the draft approach note which shall actually involve my Market Research to go beyond 5 weeks given we are small fish in a big pond and Project hasn’t been formulated yet.

“Let your vibe be a product of your heart and not your environment.”
